We are a 5th generation purveyor of fine northwest spirits and sourdough cookery. In our family we have owned and operated Seattle's best imbibing establishments (Vons 1000Spirits and Sharps Roasthouse) for 50 years with over 100 years of industry history.

Northwest Spirits is searching for a high-energy and experienced tasting room bartender. You will greet customers, make and deliver food and drinks.

Share the experience of Northwest Spirits through tastings, flights, and crafting cocktails. We are looking for an individual capable of excellent customer service! Preferred one year of experience bartending or working in a tasting room, proficient in spirit knowledge, Toast POS operation, and eagerness to grow.

Must be attentive and service-oriented.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Welcome customers, provide recommendations and take drink orders
• Checking identification cards to ensure that customers are of legal age to consume alcohol
• Enthusiastically communicate knowledge of our spirits and story
• Adhere to food safety and quality regulations
• Self starter with rotating duties, sidework, etc.
• Handle card transactions
• Maintain a clean workspace and dining area
• Mix and serve cocktails following our specifications
• Loves to engage with customers and have fun
• Embodies our core values and lives by them

Perks and Compensation :

• Starting wage $19 / hour plus tips
• Hourly tips average $7-$20 depending on sales in pay period
• Tips are part of a pool for each day based on hours worked
• 50% off all food while on shift (Vons 1000Spirits in our same building)

Average of 4-16 hours per week. Looking for someone with flexible availability to work evenings and weekends as well as private and off site events outside of regular hours as needed.

We also have opportunity for cross training in our sister restaurant over the summer in the same building.
